Credits are what a creation costs. A coloring page, from a photo or a text prompt, is 3 credits. Colouring a finished page in ("Turn it into color") starts at 2 and costs more on the premium artist, and enlarging an image is 3. The exact price is always on the button before you commit.

Never for patterns you make yourself: those cost credits, and you can download them clean, in every format, as often as you like, on any plan, including the free one. The limit is on the shared catalogue, where you can download other people's published patterns. Free accounts get 5 catalogue patterns a week, as watermarked PNG or print. On a paid plan catalogue downloads are unmarked and in every format: 30 a week on Hobby, 100 on Pro. The week is rolling: each download frees its slot again 7 days later. Taking a second file format of a catalogue pattern you already downloaded is always free.

It depends where they came from. A plan's monthly credits are for that billing period: they reset to the full allowance on every renewal instead of rolling over, and when a subscription ends whatever is left of them is written off. Credits from a one-off pack are a separate purchase and never expire. They stay on your account whether or not you subscribe, and spending always uses the expiring plan credits first.

Any time, from the billing portal on your Account page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not charge for periods after that.

Unused credits from the plan are written off at the end of the period you paid for, because they belong to that period. Credits you bought separately in a one-off pack stay on your account and can still be spent.

You can buy a one-time credit pack instead (see the packs below). Every pack also switches on the Hobby plan for a few days, so catalogue downloads are watermark-free (${CATALOGUE_DOWNLOADS_PER_WEEK.hobby} a week) while it runs.

Your credits are returned automatically and you can try again. If the failure happened after the expensive AI step had already finished, we keep the credits and give you a free retry instead. Either way you pay once for one finished result.

Yes. Payment is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your card details go to Stripe's checkout and never touch our servers. We only ever see the last four digits.
